1. Planning, Implementing and Controlling Retail Activities
- Develop quarterly and annual business plans for the Mekong Delta Region.
- Set sales targets and monitor the performance of each store within the Mekong Delta Region, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Develop and manage a chain of retail stores within the Mekong Delta Region.
- Plan and implement strategies to expand market share on an annual basis.
- Propose revenue-boosting initiatives and customer care programs.
- Seek and develop relationships with customers and potential partners to increase revenue.
- Control capital, costs, and profits within the region.
- Monitor, analyze, evaluate, and report on the execution of business plans on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
- Implement competitive business and sales strategies to expand the distribution channel in the Mekong Delta Region.
- Collect market intelligence, analyze competitors, and propose appropriate strategies on a quarterly or ad-hoc basis.
- Ensure that Area Sales Managers (ASM) and Store Managers maintain operational standards and NPS (Net Promoter Score) within the region through regular assessments, training, and coaching.
2. Managing and Developing the Team
- Control profit margins and ensure effective utilization of human resources.
- Support the recruitment and training of Area Sales Managers (ASM) in alignment with company policies.
- Supervise Area Sales Managers (ASM) and Store Managers to ensure they fulfill their assigned duties and responsibilities correctly.
- Conduct training and provide skill development support for ASMs at least once a month.
- Evaluate the KPIs of ASMs and Store Managers every six months.
- Participate in disciplinary meetings regarding personnel within the region (for positions under direct management).
- Propose appointments or dismissals of ASMs and Store Managers in accordance with company procedures.
- Provide guidance and support to ASMs in handling cases beyond their authority.
3. Market Research and Product Development Planning
- Update and report on market trends and competitors in the Mekong Delta Region.
- Provide forecasts on future market trends to adjust business strategies accordingly.
- Analyze factors influencing market share growth in the retail sector.
- Monitor industry trends and consumer preferences to provide insights into product design and competitor strategies.
4. Developing and Expanding the Retail Network
- Participate in site selection and research to expand the distribution network according to business plans.
- Assess the business performance of retail stores within the region and identify inefficiencies.
- Analyze underperforming stores and propose improvement strategies.
- Provide recommendations for store expansion, retention, or closure decisions every six months based on business performance.
Experience: 07 years or more
Working experience related to the current job: Retail chain system management
Job skills: Proficient in using office computers.
